Product Description
Ectoine is also called tetrahydromethylpyrimidine carboxylic acid. Ectorine protects halophilic bacteria from harm. It has two major functions:
1) Moisturizing: It is an important substance to maintain the balance of osmotic pressure. Its unique molecular structure has strong water molecule complexing ability and can structure free water in cells. It is an excellent natural moisturizer.
2) Repair: Ectorin can resist the damage of ultraviolet rays to the skin and repair the cell DNA damage caused by ultraviolet rays.

Function:
Ectoine has been shown to protect 100% of epidermal immune cells called "epidermal melanocytes" from damage. In addition to the skin’s antioxidant self-defense, these cells help protect the skin by recognizing antigens and inducing antibody defense responses. Epidermal melanocytes are sensitive to external stress factors. The decrease in the number of epidermal melanocytes is a sign of skin damage and aging. Ector protects the number of epidermal melanocytes in human skin exposed to ultraviolet rays, thereby reducing cellular immune suppression caused by ultraviolet rays. Ectorin prevents photoaging by protecting epidermal melanocytes from damage caused by ultraviolet rays. Studies have shown that 0.5% ectoine can protect 100% of epidermal melanocytes. The UV pressure did not destroy the epidermal melanocytes in the area treated with Ectoine.
Application:
Ectoin is widely used in daily chemical products. Because of its mildness, non-irritation, maximum moisturizing power and no greasiness, it can be added to various skin care products, such as toner, sunscreen, cream, facial mask, spray, Repair lotion, lotion, etc.
